Heat loss in dryers is usually not random — it’s often a heating element wearing out, a thermostat not regulating temperature correctly, or airflow getting restricted inside the vent system. When airflow drops, the machine runs but can’t dry properly. I’d avoid using it repeatedly until it’s checked, because it can overwork other parts. I’ve seen similar cases where GDoing quickly identified a blocked vent or weak element, and the fix was much simpler than people expected.
